The Princess and the Frog

Disney has posted a trailer for their long awaited return to 2D....
The Princess and the Frog. I'm pretty excited for this. I've noticed a lot folks aren't happy about Disney "picking up where they left off" with princesses and songs and all that kiddy stuff the kids, for whatever reason, seem to really like....go figure!

I'm glad to see John Musker and Ron Clements back in the saddle again. Can't say that I'm trilled about Randy Newman doing the music....but I didn't expect it to be perfect.

One of my biggest dreams would be to work on "A Disney Classic" in 2D and someday...hopefully, well if all go well on their end as well as mine......it's a pretty good possibility.

Keep your fingers crossed on this one.

Updates in the Key of Me

Hey all....I'm such a slacker when it comes to updating this thing.

Some updates:

-Still working on my short film, it's coming along....made some major changes to the story, I'm reworking the animatic to reflect them.
-Magnetic Dreams FINALLY updated their website
-My kid has decided to cut all of his teeth this week....awesome to see him grow...not so awesome for him

Other than that, I've been watching a ton of crap TV and the occasional kick ass movie on AMC... (Hitchcock marathon over the 4th)

Oh....and I've been accepted into the winter semester of Animation Mentor....super stoked about that awesomness.

Ok, I guess that's it for now...until next month or later....
