7 Deadly Updates

In light of my new "open" schedule for next year I've been putting together some new ideas to explore. I've been thinking of doing a couple live action short films, one is about a cross dressing mad scientist and a chicken, the other is about a man who thinks he is the "Lone Ranger" trying to enjoy his Sunday afternoon. I also have a couple other ideas for films that I want to get around to...but those are top secret for now.

I've got some new paintings sketched out that I'll be trying to get around to at the top of the year. The themes are "7 Deadly Sins" and "Gods and Monsters"

My short film "The Proposal" has made a load of progress in the last few weeks....I now have about 25% animated, no character stuff yet, mostly environment stuff, if I get a chance in the next week or so...I throw up a couple shots :)

A change in plans

So after much thought and consideration I have decided to NOT attend Animation Mentor next year. While I think that it would be incredibly beneficial for my animating skills, I just don't feel like I could commit to it 100% for the next year and that's a lot of money to not be able to fully commit. Besides, my wife and I like our place in the world right now so there is no reason to rush my progress. However, I do feel like I need a boost in Animation "how to".....so I've hooked up with Keith Lango and I'll be enjoying his Animation Personal Trainer in November.

Which in the long run...I think will be more beneficial animation wise...and financially :)
